Art Musings No. 12

I am always drawn to graffiti because of its color, shape and typography. Being that it is a statement as well as an art form makes the artists undeniably poetic. Given the areas that they work, it is not for everyone, but that is what I like. An art form born out of rebellion with the desire to produce art as a social statement. Some say vandalism, but I say artists will find a way to express themselves so that others may widen their perspective of art in general.
